Biography

Louise Wallace graduated with a first class honours degree in fine art (painting) in 2002 and went on to complete her PhD in 2006. She continues to exhibit her paintings and drawings internationally, participating in shows at:Fenderesky gallery in Belfast,the Rua Red gallery in Dublin,the Soho20 Gallery in New Yorkthe Siemens Art Space in Beijing.She has been awarded prizes including the British Airways Student Award (2001) and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland ‘ Support for the Individual Artist Programme’ (2006; 2008). Her work is in various collections including the ACNI permanent collection, the Boyle Civic collection (Sligo) and the Yan Chao collection (Beijing).For more information visit www.louisewallaceartist.com
