The thermoformability of polypropylene is assessed by means of Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analysis (DMTA) in conjunction with Hot Tensile Testing. The effect of material variables on the extrusion and thermoforming of polypropylene is also considered by comparing the behavior of nucleated and un-nucleated sheet using DMTA and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) techniques.
