    Abstract

    Established in 2005, '24 Ways' is one of the world's leading web design publications, featuring writers who are widely acknowledged as the leaders in the field of web design.Published in '24 Ways 2010', 'Good Ideas Grow on Paper' investigates the practise of 'idea generation' and urges designers to abandon the default use of Google and Wikipedia as conduits of inspiration, in favour of simple tools and lateral thinking to grease the runners of the creative sled.This piece was also included in a 2010 anthology, published by Five Simple Steps.
