Abstract

The Bluecoat Display Centre, part of the Bluecoat, Liverpool, selected Applied Artists to showcase on a monthly basis in their Applied Art Gallery within the Bluecoat. The Bluecoat selected to exhibit 4 pieces of ceramic sculpture by M. Moore, chosen by Centre director, Maureen Bampton, from Jan 1-31, 2009.This piece later was selected for SOFA Chicago 2008 and within a collection of 4, from which ' Floating Outcrop' 2007 was purchased in Chicago for the Embassies Collection of the irish Department of Foreign Affairs under a Crafts Council of Ireland purchase policy.
