Abstract

The Royal Ulster Academy 136th Annual Exhibition had 1801 submissions from 20 countries. In addition to members work, 168 artists were selected from countries across Europe, USA and UK through the open submission process. The adjudicator for the exhibition was Arthur Watson who is the President of The Royal Scottish Academy and a renowned Printmaker. The focus for the show was therefore centered on Printmaking : I was invited to exhibit two etching box constructions titled "Hide and Seek" and "Duck Fishing" in addition to delivering an illustrated lecture on Printmaking at The Ulster Museum.
