This report is part of the outputs from the TG83 e-business in construction working group of CIB. The TG83 is an international collaboration forum established to generate a programme of actions directed at identifying best practice and promoting e-business in construction. It was established in March 2011 with the objectives of conducting joint research with interested parties; to appraise and promote the use of web-based technologies for collaboration and e-business in construction; and to provide a forum for discussion, debate and evaluation of technologies, research and concepts in the area. TG83 defines e-business as the use of Information Technologies in business processes. This often leads to process innovation with the use of enabling technologies such as the internet, CAD, BIM, cloud-based technologies, GIS among others. This survey and the report have been produced as a key output of TG83 in association with the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.
